Beyond the Diagnosis is a unique project created to raise awareness, increase medical education and research of rare diseases. Professional artists from around the world, including master artists Wolfgang Widmoser and Jota Leal, donate their time and talent to paint children with a rare disease. To date, the Beyond the Diagnosis exhibit has over 100 paintings, each representing a different rare disease.

In the last 3 years, Beyond the Diagnosis has visited the following institutions: Brown Medical, Harvard Medical, NIH, Broad Institute, FDA, Hofstra Medical, Feinstein Institute, Children's of Alabama and many more. Beyond the Diagnosis has brought national attention to the unmet needs of the rare disease community. The exhibit has increased rare disease education in medical schools,  increased research at some of the countries leading institutions, created new conversations about rare diseases and brought hope and joy to the rare disease community.
